Dat SOTA voor Summits On The Air staat is menig actief zendamateur allicht bekend. De Zwitserland afdeling viert haar 15 de verjaardag met de uitgifte van een diploma.
Dat SOTA voor Summits On The Air staat is menig actief zendamateur allicht bekend. De Zwitserland afdeling viert haar 15 de verjaardag met de uitgifte van een diploma.Om voor het certificaat in aanmerking te komen dien je tussen 9 mei 2020 en 8 mei 2021 Zwitserse SOTA referenties te werken.
Het diploma is beschikbaar in drie klassen:
- Alpenrose (6 Kantons)
- Enzian (14 Kantons)
- Edelweiss (24 Kantons)
Voor alle verbindingen geldt dat deze in overeenstemming met de geldende SOTA reglementen moeten plaatsvinden. Welke deze zijn ontdek je hier.
Alle gemaakte verbindingen moeten zich in de SOTA databank bevinden.
Het award kan je online aanvragen.

BIPT examens tijdelijk opgeschort

Het BIPT deelt mee dat omwille van de stijgende COVID-19 besmettingsgraad de veiligheid voor de kandidaten en het BIPT personeel in de examenlokalen niet meer gewaarborgd kan worden.
Bijgevolg zijn alle examens tijdelijk opgschort.
Het BIPT zal ons op de hoogte brengen zodra de examens hervat worden. Wie nu reeds ingeschreven is voor een examen (en hiervoor al betaald heeft) zal zich bij de hervatting zonder bijkomende kosten opnieuw kunnen inschrijven en op dat ogenblik ook voorrang krijgen.

L'IBPT annonce qu'en raison de l'augmentation du niveau de contamination au COVID-19, la sécurité des candidats et du personnel de l'IBPT dans les salles d'examen ne peut plus être garantie.
En conséquence, tous les examens sont temporairement suspendus.
L'IBPT nous informera dès la reprise des examens. Quiconque est déjà inscrit à un examen (et l'a déjà payé) pourra se réinscrire sans frais supplémentaires à la reprise et recevra la priorité à ce moment-là.

Celebrating with special call sign 15th October to 15th December 2020
The unification of Southern Jutland with Denmark in 1920 was made possible by Germany's defeat in World War I. It took place in June 1920 after a course that began in October 1918, when Germany acknowledged its defeat and asked for a ceasefire. The unification was concretely carried out after a referendum in the affected areas.
For this reason, the Experimental Danish Radio amateurs association (EDR for short) will activate a special radio station with the call sign OZ100MILL.
In the period from 15th of October 00:00UTC until 15th of December 23:59UTC, these call sign will be active on most amateur radio bands with CW, SSB, RTTY and several digital modes. All bands, including WARC-bands, and all modes may be used.
All two way contacts and SWL reports will be valid for the special OZ100MILL award.
Every contact with OZ100MILL on different band or with different modes (CW, Phone or DIGI) counts one point. Example: Contact with OZ100MILL on 20m CW and 20m SSB and 20m RTTY and 40m CW will give you 4 points.
There are three categories of awards:
EU: GOLD=14 - SILVER=10 - BRONZE=6
OZ4CG [at] live [dot] dk (Send) your request to awardmanager.

OP20FENIKS - Feniks 2020

Om “Feniks 2020 – De groote wederopbouw in de Westhoek” wereldwijd mee onder de aandacht te brengen, slaan de radio(zend)amateurs van de UBA-secties ARA uit Gullegem en IPR uit Ieper de handen in elkaar ! Met goedkeuring van de UBA vzw èn het BIPT kregen wij voor de volledige maand november 2020 een speciale, tijdelijke clubvergunning toegekend met als roepteken OP20FENIKS.
Ons radioamateurstation staat opgesteld in de directe omgeving van het gedenkteken van “Hill 62”, gelegen aan de Canadezenlaan te 8902 Zillebeke-Ieper. OP20FENIKS zal te horen zijn op HF (de korte golf-decameterbanden) en op VHF (de 2m-band) in SSB (fonie), CW (morse) alsook in enkele Digi-modes (onder meer RTTY, SSTV en FT8). Het HF-station vindt onderdak bij de heel vriendelijke eigenaars van het “Hill62 Sanctuary Wood Museum”, Canadalaan 26 te 8902 Zillebeke-Ieper. Het VHF-station vindt zijn uniek plaatsje wat verderop, in de grasvlakte langsheen de rechterzijde van het gedenkteken van “Hill 62”, mooi tussenin twee enorm grote bomen op ongeveer 58 m ASL.
ARA & IPR activeren het Special Event Station OP20FENIKS op zondag 1 nov, maandag 2 nov, zaterdag 7 nov, zondag 8 nov, woensdag 11 nov, zaterdag 14 nov, zondag 15 nov, zaterdag 21 nov, zondag 22 nov, zaterdag 28 nov en zondag 29 nov (telkens tussen 9 uur en 18 uur). Tijdens de volledige maand november worden de ARA-Vriendenronde op dinsdagavond èn de IPR-Vriendenronde op donderdagavond telkenmale geactiveerd met onze unieke call OP20FENIKS.

Pour attirer l'attention du monde entier sur «Phénix 2020 - La Grande Réhabilitation du Westhoek», les radioamateurs des sections UBA ARA de Gullegem et IPR d'Ypres unissent leurs forces! Avec l'approbation de l'UBA et de l'IBPT, nous avons obtenu une licence temporaire pour cet indicatif spécial pour tout le mois de novembre 2020 avec l'indicatif d'appel OP20FENIKS.
Notre station radioamateur est située à proximité immédiate du mémorial de la “Colline 62”, situé au Canadezenlaan au 8902 Zillebeke-Ieper. OP20FENIKS sera actif entendu sur les bandes HF et en VHF (la bande des 2 m) en SSB, en CW ainsi qu'en dans certains modes Digi (notamment RTTY, SSTV et FT8). La station HF est hébergée par les très sympathiques propriétaires du “Hill62 Sanctuary Wood Museum”, Canadalaan 26, 8902 Zillebeke-Ieper. La station VHF se situera un peu plus loin, dans la plaine herbeuse le long du côté droit du mémorial de la “Colline 62”, entre deux énormes arbres à environ 58 m ASL.

Wil je hier aan meedoen, dan volstaat het om in je contest-log onder de rubriek ‘club’ gewoon Contest Club Belgium te zetten. Zie het voorbeeld links.
We zijn in België uiteraard met te weinig actieve contesters om hier in de kijker te lopen. Maar dat belet ons niet om België op de kaart te zetten. Momenteel doneren de Belgische operatoren hun scores aan buitenlandse clubs of aan helemaal geen enkele club. Waarom dan niet onze Belgische aanwezigheid in de kijker zetten onder onze eigen naam?
