Van 26 mei tot 26 juni zal ON70UD geactiveerd worden vanuit de shack Clubstation ON6UD, ter gelegenheid van de 70ste verjaardag van de herdenking van de meidagen in Deinze, Meigem en Vinkt. Deze herinnering gaat speciaal naar de burgers van voornoemde stad en gemeenten, welke door zinloos geweld om macht om het leven kwamen. Speciale dank aan het BIPT en de bevoegde personen van de UBA voor de vlugge goedkeuring van deze call.

Du 21 au 28 Mai 2010, des membres du Charente DX Group (CDXG) activeront l’ile Bréhat (Nord Bretagne), indicatif TM0B. Activité CW, SSB, RTTY et PSK de 10 à 80 mètres. Un minimum de quatre stations seront actives 24h/24h, et plus à d’autres moments Les opérateurs seront F1BLQ, F5EOT, F5LOW, F5NBQ, F5MNK, F6HKA, ON4ZD/OS0S.

The main mission of this DXpedition is activating T31 Central Kiribati, Kanton Island, Phoenix Islands Group. This DXCC entity is ranked #7 in EU and #19 in Worlds Most Wanted List. The next goal is activating ZK3 Tokelau Islands, which is ranked #29 in EU and #35 in World’s Most Wanted List.

VK100WIA - WIA Centenary

The Wireless Institute of Australia is the World's first and oldest National Radio Society, being founded in 1910. The WIA is a member of the International Amateur Radio Union and represents all Amateur Radio Operators in Australia to the various government bodies.
A special issue call sign VK100WIA will be used by the WIA itself in May 2010 and shared amongst the WIA's affiliated radio clubs until the end of October.

A large number of Russian stations using special prefix RP (where the letter P stands for "pobeda", i.e. "victory") are expected to be QRV on 1-10 May to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II.
