Vanaf de maand september hervatten de uitzendingen van ON4UB op 3,700 MHz in plaats van 3,744 MHz. Dit brengt hopelijk minder QRM met zich en komt tegemoet aan de nieuwe frequentieplanning voor de houders van een basisvergunning. Na het informatiebulletin hopen wij u talrijk te horen tijdens de QSO-ronde.

Willy ON4AVT is vanaf 1 september tot eind oktober on the road met de camper doorheen Turkije.
TAx/ON4AVT zal vooral QRV zijn op 14.310, hoofdzakelijk 's morgens 9.30 u Belgische tijd. Mobiele antenne of Spiderbeam fiberglass vertical.
PA6ISS celebrates PI9ISS return from ISS

On August 30th the Netherlands will celebrate the official return of the Dutch astronaut André Kuipers PI9ISS. The station PA6ISS will be active from 28 August until 2 September 2012 from the Noordwijk Lighthouse. QRV on all HF bands and modes, plus 6 and 2 metres.

Luc, ON6DSL, will be active holiday style as SV9/ON6DSL/p from various portable locations (SOTA) on the island of Crete (EU-015) between 27 August and 3 September, 2012. QRV on the HF bands using a FT-817ND QRP 5W ONLY SSB and multiband dipole.

VK4ILH - Moreton Island

VK4ILH will be active for the International Lighthouse & Lightship Weekend on August 18th & 19st 2012, with operations due to begin on the 17th.
The 2012 team consists of 8 operators. This DX'pedition will mark the very 1st time that Cape Moreton Lighthouse has ever been activated. It was originally scheduled for the 2007 ILLW but the activity never took place. Although OC-137 is not a "Most Wanted" IOTA Group, Moreton Island has not been active in nearly 15 years.

Peter ON2WAB will team up with the Grantham Radio Club (England) on their Shetland islands tour from 14 to 21 August. Activities will be from Bressay, Noss and Foula islands. He will focus on SOTA, WFF and IOTA. Basecamp is at Bressay lighthouse, callsign GB0BL. For other activities, MM6ONL/P will be aired. QRV SSB-CW, on 20/40m depending condx.

(te vertalen) Raymond, ON4DG, et une équipe de la section UBA de Gembloux activeront le château d'Aische-en-Refail le dimanche 12 août 2012 de 8 à 12 heures locale. Le château d'Aische-en-Refail a reçu la référence NM-117 pour le Belgian Castles Award (BCA) et ON-01299 pour le World Castles Award (WCA).
L'équipement sera un Kenwood TS850 de 100 watts et un dipôle 40/80 mètres installé dans un shack mobile. Le trafic se fera essentiellement sur le 40m. Le château d'Aische-en-Refail se trouve Rue du... Château à Aische-en-Refail par 50° 35' 47,26''N et 4° 49' 47,84'' E. C'est très facile à trouver, à l'entrée du village sur la droite en venant de Liernu.

ON29IOF - International Oldtimer Fly-in

Op 11 en 12 augustus zal de sectie DST(Diest) de speciale call ON29IOF gebruiken ter gelegenheid van de 29ste Oldtimer Fly-in te Schaffen. Een speciale QSL-kaart zal voor de gelegenheid ontworpen worden. Wij zullen QRV zijn van op Schaffen Airfield met als achtergrondgeluid de ronkende motoren van de honderden vliegtuigen die worden verwacht. Ook de oldtimer voertuigen zullen weer van de partij zijn.
Op HF zijn we te vinden tussen 80m en 10m in SSB en zelfs in CW. Kom je langs? Bezoek dan zeker de DST infostand. We zijn gans het weekend ook QRV op ON0DST. Meer info kan u hier en hier vinden.
