From 10th nov. in the afternoon till 13th nov. at noon, UBA ARA will activate OP22HWL in remembrance of Harry Whitelock. He is the grandfather of Paul Whitelock G0GMY a british radio amateur and friend. Harry was killed on the battlefields of Ypres on 6 aug. 1917 at the age of 26. His body was never found and his name is now engraved in the Menin Gate.

The station will be on the air during the complete period  (day and night) on different bands and modes. The shack during the activation is the Klein Zwaanhof museum in Ypres.  More information and QSL routes will be available on QRZ.com. The operators are looking forward to many contacts.
