Oliver ON4EI will again be QRV from Ireland near Fethard (IO62EL) on top of Benneshill (170 m asl) with his Irish callsign EI8GQB. He will enter the CQ WPX SSB CONTEST as SOAB Low Power Non Assisted (March 26-27). 5th European result in 2009 and 6th European result in 2010. Reference frequency before the contest is 7.100 MHz +/- QRM.

During the week before the contest Oliver will build a Bi/mono directional beverage East-West/West. Equipment: 18 m vertical top loaded monopole and inverted V for 80/40, Spiderbeam for 20/15/10. Rig is Elecraft K3 100 W.
