Te vertalen - Olivier ON4EI, one of the top European contester, is back to Ireland to operate EI8GQB during July month and EI1A during:

  • the IARU HF Worldchampionship contest July 12-13th,
  • the CQ WW VHF contest July 19-20th (on 50 MHz only),
  • the Island On The Air contest July 26-27th.

In 2013, Olivier scored, with EI1A, first Europe position during the CQ WW WPX, IARU HF and IOTA contests in Low Power Single Op SSB category (SO2R) using green energy only and its Field Day style antenna park.

  • 18m top loaded vertical monopole for 160-80m-40m bands + 32 radials.
  • Inverted V dipole for 160-80m-40m bands.
  • 3 elements East-West two-direction inverted V beam for 40m band.
  • 200m long beverage RX antenna East-West directional.
  • Spiderbeam antenna for 20/15/10m bands.
  • Mosley TA33 JRN antenna for 20/15/10m bands.
  • Rigs are Elecraft K3/P3 (RUN) & KX3+100W/NAP3 (SEARCH).
  • 500Ah battery bank + 180W solar panel and 400W wind generator.
