EG5SUB - S-61 submarine DELFIN

For the second time consecutively the Radioaficionados of the Vega Baja (ARVB) and the local section of URE Orihuela will return to activate the S-61 Submarine DELFIN located in the port of Torrevieja (Alicante) with the call sign “EG5SUB”.

They will start on Saturday, 1st of June at 9 am GMT through Sunday, 2nd in the evening using several modalities of transmission, digital SSB and CW, in the HF bands.

II4BTK - Ham Radio Activation “Elettra” Yacht

On the occasion of the international exhibition Museum Ships Weekend Event on 1-2 June 2013, radio amateurs of ARI Fidenza Club will activate a radio station II4BTK nearby the portion of the yacht Elettra kept at the Museum of Villa Grifone in Pontecchio Marconi (BO). The "Elettra" yacht was the “mobile laboratory” of the great scientist Guglielmo Marconi, on board of which were carried out important experiments related to radio communications.

There will be a special event station with three special event callsigns allocated to Grey Point Fort, a WW1 coastal defence fort located in Helens Bay, Crawfordsburn, Northern Ireland.

GB0GPF - GN0URN - MN0GPF will be aired, starting at 1700hrs UTC 31st May 2013 to 1700hrs UTC 2nd June 2013. Spain - Extension of 160m band and new 630m allocation

Spanish amateurs have been authorized to use a new segment on the 160 metre band on secondary basis, 1810-1830 kHz, beside the primary allocation 1830-1850 kHz.

They are also allowed to use the band 472-479 kHz on secondary basis.

ON4ATO - Sectie ATO activeert Monnikenhof van Vlierbeek

Op zaterdag 18 mei zal UBA-ATO (Amateurs van Tienen en Omstreken) het kasteel Monnikenhof te Vlierbeek activeren vanaf ongeveer 08:00 lokale tijd. Frequenties (onder voorbehoud): 10/15/20/40m. Er zal gewerkt worden met de call ON4ATO.
