Special event station SN100DP will be activated from October 8th until 11th, 2009 on deck of s/v Dar Pomorza (aka "White Frigate"), currently preserved in Gdynia Port as museum ship. SN100DP plans to be active mainly on 80, 40 and 20m in SSB, CW, PSK and RTTY. Click here for further details.

Le VOARG (Vancouver Olympics Amateur Radio Group) coordonne une série d'indicatifs spéciaux à l'occasion des jeux olympiques d'hivers à Vancouver (Jeux d'hivers Olympiques et paralympiques de 2010) qui auront lieu en février et mars 2010. L'activité aura lieu sur toutes les bandes et modes et ont commencé en octobre 2009 pour finir en mars 2010.Trois indicatifs spéciaux de type 2x1 (1 lettre de suffixe) ont été délivrés :
VG7V du 01/10/09 au 30/11/09.
VG7W du 01/12/09 au 31/01/10.
VG7G du 01/02/10 au 31/03/10.
OD5F - Sixth Francophone Games

Lebanon will be hosting the Sixth Francophone Games, which will be held in Beirut from 27th of September to 6th of October 2009. The Radio Amateurs of Lebanon (RAL) will be sponsoring a special event Amateur Radio Station "OD5F" for the duration of the event. The Francophone games are held every 4 years, with the participation of 3.000+ athletes, youths and artists from 56 French speaking countries and 14 observer countries. It is a popular sports and art festival.RAL will have a special QSL card for the event. QSL is via the buro.

Log submission and result processing for the 51st SAC (CW 19-20 Sept. , SSB 26-27 Sept.) will be a lot easier than before. SM3CER, Jan and SM7LQV, Lars created a Log Processing Robot, that not only will be able to automatically receive all logs, but also to present a continuously updated Claimed Scores List, that will grow upon the receipt of all logs. The speed of checking logs will be highly increased and final results will be ready much earlier. Subsequently, the deliveries of Awards and Plaques will go much faster. Please find the UPLOAD CONTEST LOG button in the upper right corner of the new official Scandinavian Activity Contest site, when you feel ready to submit your Cabrillo log. ON4OSA - Heimolen

Vanaf 12 september is Wim XU7TZG QRV in SSB, BPSK en CW vanuit het zonnige Cambodia met een nieuwe transceiver, namelijk een K3 met ingebouwde voicerecorder en 200Hz filter. Skeds kunnen gemaakt worden via on6tz [at] hotmail [dot] com. Hou er rekening mee dat Wim op zijn QTH geen internetverbinding heeft en naar het lokale internetcafé moet om e-mail en een Duvel te raadplegen ;-). Wekelijks worden de logs on-line bijgewerkt via www.xu7tzg.be.QSL via ON7PP.
