Ce vendredi 21 septembre un contact ARISS est prévu entre le BSTI St. Vith, l'école B-1 à Nuremberg et Alexander Gerst. Le contact sera en allemand.
L'heure du contact est vers 10h15 UTC via la station Telebridge W6SJR à Santa Rosa, Californie. ON6TI sera le modérateur.
St. Vith:
Our school, the BSTI was established in 1931. It is a secondary school for boys and girls between 12 and 18.
We are situated in the hilly Eifel region, more precisely in St.Vith, a small town in the German-speaking part of East-Belgium. That means that you can find us right in the middle of the border triangle between Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg, where different cultures and languages meet.
Our pupils can graduate in a wide range of subjects such as natural sciences, mathematics, physical education or modern languages to qualify for university studies.
But since we are also a technical high school many vocational subjects are on offer as well.
It is our philosophy to combine tradition and innovation to help our pupils find a perspective for their personal lives and their future as individuals.
But we also want to raise an awareness for global challenges to encourage them to contribute to a more sustainable future for our world.

B1-Nuremberg – short form of Berufliche Schule Direktorat 1 Nuremberg - is a vocational school located in the south of Germany.
Education directions are electrical and electronically engineering, electronics, information technology, mechanics and mechatronics (parts of mechanics combined with parts of electronics).
Approx. 2000 students and 80 teachers are learning and working at the B1-Nuremberg.
The education combines theoretical lessons and practical training in workshops and laboratories.
Our students spend parts of the period of training in school and other parts in industrial plants and workshops (German Dual-System of education).
An amateur radio and electronics working community was found at the school in October 2016.
Students are taught by an amateur radio instructor weekly and learn to operate in analogous and digital modes of ham radio with the aim of getting an own ham radio license.
Soldering of small circuit boards is also part of the training in the amateur radio and electronic working community.
One highlight in this year is to make an amateur radio contact and talk to a person in space.
