F/OO5G - Caussiniojouls

During the period 8 to 20 September, ON4GI will be active as F/OO5G from the village Caussiniojouls, DDFM 34, in southern France.

Caussiniojouls is a village with about 120 inhabitants, located in the "Parc Naturel Regional du Haut - Languedoc" and known as WWFF reference FFF - 048.

F/OO5G will mainly be active in the 20 and 40m bands on a vacation rhythm and without a fixed schedule. Mainly in the morning, between 8:00 and 10.00H, local time, and the late afternoon, after 17:00 H will be the possible active hours.

After return from F all contacts will be confirmed with a special QSL via buro.

J44LH - Trikeri Lighthouse

For the second time after 5 years, the Trikeri Lighthouse (ARLHS GRE-128), will be activated on September 7-10 with the special callsign J44LH. The lighthouse is situated on Point Kavoulia in the Gulf of Pagasitikos.

Bands 160m-6m, modes CW, SSB, PSK, RTTY. Equipment: YAESU FT-897, ICOM IC-706MKIIG, Yaesu FT-101ZD. Antennas: HF Extended Double Zeppelin 20+20m, Multiband Delta Loop (40-10M), 10m endfed vertical, 3 PC with MixW & Wintest.

OQ2MRS - Red Star Line Museum

OQ2MRS will be the callsign commemorating the transportation of 2 million passengers to the United States of America.

On September 28, the Red Star Line Museum will open in the historic warehouses of the Red Star Line shipping company in Antwerp, Belgium. The Red Star Line Museum tells the story of millions of Europeans who had the courage to leave everything behind and go away, in search of happiness and a better life. It is a story of high expectations and huge disappointments, a story about adrenaline and sleepless nights. In the old buildings of the shipping company all these emotions and stories are tangible and visible.

OR9W/P - Lightship Westhinder 1

OR9W/P will be aired during Lighthouse/Lightship weekend on August 16, 17 and 18 from the Westhinder 1 lightship in Rupelmonde (ref. BE0004). All equipment will be installed on the lightship itself. Frequencies: 10, 15, 20, 40 and 80m.

TM20RSX - 20 years of Friiendship UBA-RSX and Radio-club F5KFL

The UBA section RSX and the French radioclub F5KFL are planning a French-Belgian expedition from 10/08/2013 to 17/08/2013 to commemorate their 20 years of friendship.

This expedition will take place at Ingrandes near Poitiers in the department 86 of France. 16 French and Belgian operators will be QRV on all HF and VHF bands with several stations in SSB, CW and digital modes with the special callsign TM20RSX. TM: French special prefix, 20: 20 years we are twinned radio-clubs, RSX: the members of F5KFL have chosen our UBA section letters as suffix.
