Enigma Reloaded 2016

The main goal of the Enigma Event is to promote as much radioamateur’s activity as possible all over the world, celebrating the history of the Enigma cipher machine and its crucial role in the outcome of World War II, and spreading the knowledge of those key people who contributed to its decryption.

The Enigma Event 2016 will take place in two steps:

  • From 17 th to 30 th September 2016, Italian and foreign Amateur radio stations registered as "Activator stations” will ensure the activation of their radio stations in order to allow to the participants getting their scores for the "Enigma Award".
  • On October 1 st, the final event’s day, the Activator Stations will exchange predefined CW messages previously encyphred by a real or emulated Enigma machine.

Clubleden van de UBA-sectie CRD (Club Radio Durnal) zullen actief zijn op zondag 28/08 vanuit de kasteelboerderij Visart de Bocarmé in de gemeente Teploux (Namen) met referenties BCA NM-Ø73 en WCA ON-ØØ839. Start van deze activiteit vanaf 08u30 lokaal op de 40 en 20 meter banden in SSB en CW met speciale call ON25CRD/p.

Cet indicatif spécial attribué à l’occasion des 70 années d’existence de la Force Aérienne Belge sera utilisé jusqu’a la fin de l’année en cours. Les émissions HF se feront toutes bandes, tous modes. Une station VHF/UHF sera activée en phonie. Une QSL spéciale relative à cet évènement sera éditée fin de cette année et attribuée à chaque QSO.

Op zaterdag 6 augustus 2016 zullen Eric ON3EE, Joris ON3JL, Rene ON3VS, Walter ON5WAL, Swa ON5SWA, Niels ON3NE en Leon ON4VLM het special event station ON115AD activeren in As. Dit ter herdenking van de ontdekking van de eerste lagen steenkool door André Dumont en zijn boorteam 115 jaar geleden.

Vanaf 8 uur lokale tijd kan je ON115AD vinden op 40m en later gedurende de dag op 20m. Er zal ook een livestream opgezet worden zodat iedereen het station LIVE in actie kan zien, dus surf regelmatig eens naar: http://bit.ly/12MR97c.

Uiteraard zijn bezoekers zeer welkom Hier de GPS Coordinaten: N 51° 00' 16.69" E 5° 36' 01.19". Adres: Stationsstraat 124 te 3665 As. Het zendstation staat opgebouwd naast de retro boortoren (uitkijktoren).
