TM80D - Baptême du St. Michel II

Un indicatif spécial, TM80D, a été accordé pour le baptême du St. Michel II, deuxième bateau ayant appartenu à Jules Verne, par l’association « La Cale 2 l’Île » de Nantes.
Le 14 Mai 2011 sera lancée à Nantes la réplique du St Michel II, le bateau de Jules Verne, les radioamateurs se devaient de marquer cet événement nautique et durant toute la manifestation une station sera activée sur le quai de lancement. Une station, TM80D, sera présente sur toutes les bandes décamétriques, VHF et UHF et une carte QSL spéciale sera envoyée pour confirmation des QSO.
Un suivi en direct sur internet avec carnet de trafic, photos et vidéo. C’est l’aboutissement du travail d’une centaine de bénévoles sous la présidence de Daniel Croze, un président qui enseigna l’électronique toute sa vie professionnelle… et eut de nombreux élèves qui devinrent radioamateurs.

The CQ Manchester Mineira DX Contest (CQMM DX Contest) is a continuation of the popular and successful Manchester Mineira All America CW Contest, being organized and established by the Group CWJF since 1993. The competition was initially limited to Brazil (1993-1996), later expanded to South America (1997-2006) and finally extended to the Americas (2007-2010). From 2011, it becomes an international competition held among all continents.

The CY0 Dxpedition team has set 7-15 March 2011 as the target schedule to activate Sable Island. This will be their third attempt due to long term weather delays. The website will be updated periodically as to the status and any potential impact on the planned activation date.
