EI8GQB / EI1A one-man activation

From July 7 to July 31, Olivier ON4EI is back to Ireland to operate EI8GQB/EI1A from a caravan with green energy. He will also activate EI1A callsign during:- the IARU HF Worldchampionship contest, July 13-14
- the CQ WW VHF contest July 20-21 (50 MHz only)
- the Island On The Air contest July 27-28
Activities and antenna experimentation can be followed here, where you will find a live information banner with on air frequencies and information. Also LIVE video streaming from the caravan will be provided here.
Equipment:
- 18m top loaded vertical monopole for 160-80m-40m bands + 32 radials
- 3 elements East-West directional inverted V beam for 40m band
- 200m long beverage RX antenna East-West directional
- 2 x Spiderbeam antennas for 20/15/10m bands
- 5 elements ZX Yagi 6m band
- Elecraft K3+P3 & Kenwood TS2000 100W
- 500Ah battery bank + 180W solar panel and 400W wind generator
Objective: enjoy radio, run the contests on green energy only and score amongst TOP 10 world stations in SOABLP category.
