ODE ready to rock!

De sectie ODE zal dit jaar tijdens het IARU HF Championship (13-14 juli, 12-12 UTC) het clubstation OP0HQ activeren op alle klassieke banden (10, 15, 20, 40, 80 en 160) in zowel CW als in SSB.Operatoren zijn: Christiaan ON4ACW, Marc ON4ND, Marnic ON5MA, Anita ON6AN, Johan ON6YX, Wim ON7AB, Martin ON7ME en Jo ON4CGH.
Het eerste station dat zijn log opstuurt naar de HF Manager ON7LX (on7lx [at] uba [dot] be) met daarin het bewijs dat hij/zij OP0HQ gewerkt heeft op alle 6 banden zowel in CW als in SSB, wint een magnum fles LIEFMANS. Deze fles wordt geschonken door de sectie ODE.
EI8GQB / EI1A one-man activation

From July 7 to July 31, Olivier ON4EI is back to Ireland to operate EI8GQB/EI1A from a caravan with green energy. He will also activate EI1A callsign during:- the IARU HF Worldchampionship contest, July 13-14
- the CQ WW VHF contest July 20-21 (50 MHz only)
- the Island On The Air contest July 27-28
Activities and antenna experimentation can be followed here, where you will find a live information banner with on air frequencies and information. Also LIVE video streaming from the caravan will be provided here.
Equipment:
- 18m top loaded vertical monopole for 160-80m-40m bands + 32 radials
- 3 elements East-West directional inverted V beam for 40m band
- 200m long beverage RX antenna East-West directional
- 2 x Spiderbeam antennas for 20/15/10m bands
- 5 elements ZX Yagi 6m band
- Elecraft K3+P3 & Kenwood TS2000 100W
- 500Ah battery bank + 180W solar panel and 400W wind generator
Objective: enjoy radio, run the contests on green energy only and score amongst TOP 10 world stations in SOABLP category.

Op zaterdag 29 juni 2013, van 10 tot 13 u lokale tijd, zullen twee groepen zendamateurs de Belgische Flora en Fauna referentie ONFF-104 activeren. ONFF-104 ligt in het natuur park "Het Zoerselbos" in de Antwerpse Kempen.Het station ON5SWA/P kan je vinden rond 7,144 MHz op 40m en rond 14,244MHz op 20m. Er zijn bijzondere QSL-kaarten te bemachtigen.

Op 22 juni gaan we met enkele OM's van RST het kasteel van Brustem activeren (BCA LB-100 en WCA ON-0755): Susanne ON2SL, Roger ON4AHQ, André ON4DTO en Erwin ON5BWE. We zullen de call ON5BWE/P gebruiken.We starten 's morgens rond 6 uur lokale tijd. Frequenties: 80m SSB, vervolgens 40m SSB en eventueel andere banden. We zullen ook een klein VHF-station bij hebben op 145.275 FM.
