Olivier ON4EI, viert tussen 2 juli en 12 augustus 2016 zijn ‘radiokamp’ in Ierland als EI8GQB (EI1A tijdens de IARU HF World Championship 9-10 juli en IOTA Contest 30-31 juli). 6m activiteit is ook voorzien.Olivier plaatste zich met EI1A op de eerste plaats in Europa, categorie Low Power/Single OP SSB met een ‘Field Day style’ antennepark en groene energievoorziening. Dit jaar probeert hij zich te kwalificeren voor de 2018 WRTC in Duitsland.

PA100FDM - Nijmegen Four Days Marches

It is our pleasure to announce a special event station in the Nijmegen region (South-East Netherlands), celebrating the 100th edition of the famous and internationally well-known event Four Days Marches.The Four Days Marches are a walking achievement event for four consecutive days, in which annually 46,000 walkers are participating. On those days, people from all over the world come to Nijmegen to walk in and around the city and its beautiful wooded surroundings. Thousands of spectators are cheering on the walkers along the route every day. After four days of walking a glorious entry along the Via Gladiola awaits the walker followed by receiving their well-deserved Four Days Medal.
Special event station PA100FDM will be active during 28 days from June 28th to July 26th 2016 and is made possible by several amateur radio operators from the Nijmegen region. De IMW worden dit jaar gehouden op 18-19/06/2016 en op 25-26/06/2016. Bij deze gelegenheid zullen de leden van de sectie CRD (Club Radio Durnal) van de UBA actief zijn op zondag 19/06/2016 vanaf 8u30 (lokale tijd) en de hele dag door op SSB en CW vanuit het Commandomuseum gelegen binnen de kazerne van het 2de bataljon commando’s te Flawinne (Namen).Speciale QSL via bureau.

Het internationale kastelenweekend (World Castles Weekend) gaat dit jaar door op 18 en 19 juni. Bij deze gelegenheid zullen de leden van de UBA-sectie CRD (Club Radio Durnal) actief zijn op zaterdag 18/06/2016 vanaf 08u30 (lokale tijd) en de hele dag door in SSB en CW vanuit twee kastelenreferenties op de 40m & 20m banden.- Voormiddag: kasteel de La-Bas te Aische en Refail, BCA NM-116, WCA ON-1298.
- Namiddag: kasteel van Aische (zelfde QTH), BCA NM-117, WCA ON-1299.
