Midway and Kure Islands Reinstated as DXCC Entities (ARRL News)

On March 31, 2017, the DXCC desk announced the deletion of Midway Island and Kure Island from the DXCC entities list. The stated reason for this action was because of changes in the administration resulting from changes in Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument, formerly known as the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands Marine National Monument, of which the Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge and the Battle of Midway National Memorial, the Hawaii State Seabird Sanctuary at Kure Atoll, and the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands State Marine Refuge, of which they are all included.
After further review it has been found that the deletion of these two entities is not supported by the changes that were made to the relevant administrations. Therefore, the deletions from the DXCC list should not have occurred and the two entities, Midway Island KH4 and Kure Island KH7K, will return to the DXCC list as separate entities.
ON4CRD/P - Grotte de Spy

(te vertalen) Nous voici arrivé à notre terme, ce dimanche 30/04 ce sera la dernière activation grotte. Nous serons sur la grotte de Spy. Découverte en 1886, l’homme de Spy est devenu l’un des plus illustres représentants de l’homme de Néandertal.
Nous activerons sur les bandes 80, 40 et 20 m en CW et SSB à partir de 8h30 jusque ?. Après informations, et renseignements pris sur place, nous serons sur le parking de « Espace de l’homme de Spy » route d’Eghezée 301-303 à Onoz, à près de 600m de la grotte à vol d’oiseau, 50° 29’ 01’’ N et 4° 39’ 59’’ E.

(te vertalen) OP70BFS sera activé le samedi 15 avril 2017 entre 07:00 et 15:00 heures UTC par le team BAFARA de la Base Militaire de Florennes.
Cet indicatif spécial attribué à l’occasion des 70 années d’existence de la Base Aérienne de Florennes sera utilisé jusqu’a la fin de l’année en cours. Les émissions HF se feront toutes bandes, tous modes. Une station VHF/UHF sera activée en phonie.
Une QSL spéciale relative à cet évènement sera éditée fin de cette année et attribuée à chaque QSO. QSL via bureau ou QSL Manager ON2KFJ.
ON4CRD - Château Beauregard

Nous vous attendrons nombreux sur le 20 et 40m de 8h30 a ???? suivant les bons vouloirs de la propagation.
TM2H - Houat island

From April 8th to 14th, the Charente DX Group (CDXG) will sign TM2H from Houat island EU-048. Activity on all HF bands in CW-RTTY-SSB.

VE100VMY - Vimy memorial park

A commemorative amateur radio station with the call sign VE100VIMY, will operate from April 1 to April 9, 2017 from Vimy memorial park during the ceremonies marking the centenary of the WW1 battle. There will be two stations and appropriate antennas working on a 24 hour basis.There is a website http://ve100vimy.ca/ that contains more information on the project. The event is being organized by the Vimy Commemorative Station Society, a registered in British Columbia Society, in coordination with a number of leading Canadian amateurs.
